Sleep Out America

Eight of our church members/friends participated in Sleep Out America on Friday night, Nov 22 through Saturday morning.  We slept outside in refrigerator boxes, raising over $3,700 for homeless youth.  The overall event included 500+ participants raising over $260,000.  Convanent House also helped over 2,000 teens that same night.  Thanks to those that slept out in the cold and everyone that donated to such a great cause.

Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk

Our church raised $2,080 for the Suicide Prevention Walk on Saturday, September 14 at Stoney Creek Metropark.  Thanks to the entire walking team and to Sally Adams, our top fundraiser.

Peach Festival Food Drive for Samaritan House

We had a successful initial Peach Festival Food Drive collecting over 200 non-perishable foods for Samaritan House! The families that come back every year to use our parking lot expressed appreciation for what we were doing and gave another $50 in cash towards the food drive! You are all a blessing!

Emergency Clean Up Buckets

We collected enough supplies and money to provide 30 emergency cleanup buckets for Church World Service.  Thanks to everyone that donated and those that coordinated the collection!
