The governing body of the church. Manages the church business, establishes overall goals and objectives and addresses issues and concerns that affect our congregation. These responsibilities include financial management, overseeing the general welfare of the church, assisting other ministries and coordinating/managing official congregational meetings and other key activities.
Ensures education is available to all. Includes church school, vacation Bible school and adult education. Supports the Coordinator of Ministry to Children and Families. Supports ministry members committed to individual tasks within this ministry, i.e. Christmas Pageant, Confirmation
Provides hospitality during special events including funeral luncheons, community activites and other special occassions. Provides meals for individuals and families who are experiencing difficulties or have special or emergency needs.
Promotes and coordinates special offerings and events to encourage and support our church's involvement in minstries to the congregation and to the local, state, national and global community. Also includes our denomination's special offerings throughout the year, i.e. One Great Hour of Sharing.
Participates in the management of Samaritan House; a community service organization devoted to serving individuals and families within our community.
Manages the care and support for our church staff. Includes coordination and performance of yearly reviews along with support for any issues that may need to be addressed. Provides recommendations to Ministry Council for salary compensation and job responsibilities.
In partnership with the Minister and Music Director, offers members and staff the opportunity to create and facilitate life-giving and meaningful worship experiences throughout the year. Attends to both 'ordinary' Sunday services including responsibility for ushering, acolyting, lay reading, communion and 'special' services. Also provides support for special music and the care of our instruments and music library.
Manages and cares for our building. Acts as a liaison to the Church Office Manager and assists as required. Develops, maintains and facilitates yearly budget, repair activities and maintenance plan.
Provides support for a homeless family with children. Includes management of the program, weekly meetings with the family to review progress, goals and objectives, and care for the home.
Coordinate and provide support and guidance for weddings held in our church. Assist in planning and arranging the details of the wedding, including the review of our policies, discussing the wedding plans, and assisting the florist, musicians and photographer.
Knitting Group
Provides outreach support for local and global missions by making hand-knit and crocheted blankets, sweaters, vests, hats, mittens, and socks for those in need.
Supports and maintains an open relationship between the pastor and the members of our congregation. Serves as an advisory group to the pastor and as support for the pastor's leadership.

Supported by persons willing to perform a specific role related to the Peach Festival. Various roles include purchase coordinator, set up coordinator, clean up coordinator, kitchen help coordinator, sloppy joe coordinator, parking lot coordinator, etc. The coordinators contact members and friends to ensure that sufficient help is secured for all aspects of Peach Festival events.

Welcoming Team
Greet individuals, couples and families each Sunday to welcome and assist them with any questions or support they may need. Provide basic information and answer questions about our church, worship service, church school, the nursery, the building and after worship activities.
